Medea is Euripides, most horrifying character. Spurned by her de facto husband, Jason, and banished from Corinth, she plans her revenge. As a handmaiden of Hecate she has dark powers, and she decides to poison Glauke, Jason's young fiancee. She sends her sons to the Palace with poisoned gifts which kill Glauke and her father. She then murders her own sons
