About Classics Network -- Experts Network

Our network of Classics Experts is a group of humanities students, academics and enthusiasts
from around the world who have agreed to help us build the site by sharing their
knowledge and experience. Each Expert takes charge of a particular thinker page (authors on LiteratureClassics.com; philosophers on PhilosophyClassics.com),
and is responsible for adding new content, editing and correcting existing
content, adding and rating links and resources, and so on, for that particular
thinker. The Expert also communicates with users who have questions and helps
moderating discussion.
Become an Expert
There are currently hundreds of vacancies on the Experts Network.
We are looking especially for students or educators with at least an
undergraduate degree with a major in English, Philosophy or Classics, and
preferably with a postgraduate degree in one of those areas, although we invite
anyone to apply. We are accepting applications for all authors, but it is
advisable to apply to be an Expert only for an author which is not yet taken--to
check if there is an existing Expert for an author, see the 'Experts' tab on the
right hand sidebar on the author page.
In order to apply, please go directly to the Experts Application Form (you'll need to log in first).

I've submitted my
application but haven't got a response. Why is it taking so long?
It may take us several weeks to review your Expert
application. Please be patient!
Do Experts get paid?
No. Being an Expert is entirely
voluntary.
How can I
contact the Expert for a particular author?
Most Experts have their email
address listed towards the top of the thinker page. However, some Experts have
chosen not to put their email address on the site--in this case, post a message
and the Expert may be able to help you.
Please do not close the main LiteratureClassics.com window. The links in this small window may not function if you do.
