Manuscript Services for Individual Authors

I will provide detailed, line by line editing of novels, articles, and nonfiction books.  I will carefully edit your work for spelling, grammar, punctuation, word choice, and word flow.  I will make minor stylistic revisions as needed.

I will write and/or edit copy for newsletters, reports, letters, press releases, advertisements, websites, and brochures.   I  also design basic newsletters, flyers, handouts, and brochures using Microsoft Publisher.  All documents can be converted to PDF files. I am willing to write copy on virtually any subject.  In the past, I have written articles on religion, accounting, direct marketing, and postal issues.  I have also written inspirational business articles and speeches.

What Are Your Qualifications?

I have an M.A. in English from the University of Texas at Brownsville, where I earned a 4.0 grade point average.   I have a B.A. in English and Economics from the University of Virginia. My score on the verbal portion of the G.R.E. was in the 99th percentile.  I have edited Ancient Paths Literary Magazine since 1998, and I have also served as an editor and writer for the following publications: Inspirations, newsletter of Woodmen of the World Virginia North (2002-2004); The Pace Report, newsletter of C.L. Pace Associates (2000 - 2003); Taxing Times, newsletter of Hales, Bradford, & Allen, L.L.P. (1997-1998); and The Looking Glass, newsletter of the U.V.A. B.S.U. (1994-1997).  My poetry and short stories have appeared in numerous periodicals, including AIM: America's Intercultural Magazine, The First Line, Time of Singing, Raconteur, and The Penwood Review.  For a complete list of my personal publication credits, click here.
