1948--Zimmerman family moves to Hibbing, MN  
1954--Robert Zimmerman has his bar mitzvah  
1959--Zimmerman graduates from Hibbing High School. He enrolls in the University of Minnesota and moves into a Jewish fraternity house  
1960--moves out of the frat. house. Changes his name to Dylan  
1961--having dropped out of the University of Minnesota, Dylan moves to New York and records his first album 1961--Bob Dylan recorded (released 1962)

1979--Dylan's girlfriend asks two pastors of the Vineyard Fellowship in California to talk to him about Jesus. He admits that he wants Christ in his life, and prays and receives Him. For 3 months, he attends a course at the School of Discipleship. In February, he is baptized. He begins preaching at his shows and singing songs with Christian messages. 1979--Slow Train
